目的:研究黄蜀葵花总黄酮(total flavone of abelmoschl manihot,TFA)对高血糖大鼠的作用。方法:在正常大鼠和四氧嘧啶诱导2型实验性高血糖模型大鼠上,分别灌胃给药TFA 30、60和120 mg/kg,14 d后测定体质量、空腹血糖、糖耐量及血浆丙二醛(malondialdehyde,MDA)和超氧化物歧化酶(superoxide dismutase,SOD)。结果:TFA 30、60、120 mg/kg对正常大鼠空腹血糖有降低趋势,但未达统计学显著性意义;TFA 60和120mg/kg对四氧嘧啶诱导的大鼠空腹血糖水平和血浆MDA含量的升高、糖耐量减低及血浆SOD活性降低均有明显的抑制作用,120 mg/kg TFA还可显著地抑制大鼠体质量的减轻。结论:TFA对四氧嘧啶诱导的2型高血糖模型大鼠有一定的治疗作用,其机制可能与抗氧自由基过氧化有关。
AIM: To study the effect of total flavones of abelmoschl manihot (TFA) on rat with experimental hyperglycemia. METHODS : Normal rats and alloxan-induced hyperglycemic rats were given 30, 60 and 120 mg · kg^-1 · d^-1 TFA by gastrogavage for 14 days respectively. Body weight, blood glucose level and glucose tolerance, serum malondi-aldehyde (MDA) content and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity were measured 14 days later. RESULTS:TFA 30, 60 and 120 mg/kg had an reducing trend on the blood glucose level in normal rats, but the reduction did not reach statistics significance. 60 and 120 mg/kg TFA significantly inhibited the increase of blood glucose level and serum MDA content as well as the decrease of blood glucose tolerance and reduction of serum SOD activity in alloxan-induced hyperglycemic rats. 120 mg/kg TFA obviously inhibited alloxan-induced loss of weight in rats. CONCLUSION: TFA possesses therapeutical effect on experimental hyperglycemia rat induced by alloxan, which may be related to inhibiting of the oxygen free radical-mediated lipid peroxidation.
