According to the fifrth national census,this paper analyzes the sociological characteristics of the migration and the influence on the population development in Yangtze River Delta. It expatiates systemically the migration regional patterns and its characteristics in Yangtze River Delta from the following three aspects：（1）the distribution of migration scale of Yangtze River Deha;（2） the destination choice of inter-provincial immigration outside the region;（3） the flows of inter-urban migration in the Delta.It also can prvide some references to accelerate the establishment and the development of metropolis in Yangtze River Delta.
