According to the theory analysis and experimental research of the 13essel beam with different degree of tempo- ral coherence and spatial coherence, we can conclude that spatial coherence plays more important role than that of tempo- ral coherence on the generation and propagation of Bessel beam. The green light-emitting diodes, broad-stripe edge-emit- ting semiconductor lasers and vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers are presented as the light source of generating Bessel beam. Compared with former results, we find that the quality of Bessel beam can be significantly enhanced by improving the spatial coherence of light sources.
