The Bessel beam generator based on different fiber structure is a kind of compact optical device. It's efficient, simple, practicable and requiring no alignment to generate Bessel beam directly. This paper reports the three different new methods on Bessel beam generator based on optical fiber: generating Bessel beams via exciting LP0,, modes with a multimode (MM) fiber onto single-mode (SM) fiber, generating Bessel beams via exciting LP0,n modes with a long period fiber grating, and generating Bessel beams via optical fiber splicing a polymer lens. We analyze the advantages and disad- vantages of these generating methods and proposed the scope of their applications.
