A series of studies showed that ketamine can induce a large number of rapid development of brain neurons leads to cognitive dysfunction by animal ethology test methods. The functional lesion displayed in spatial cognitive performance, learning, memory and other aspects, but not yet been confirmed in clinical, ketamine effect on brain development was the current research focus,to clarify its mechanism may be a instructive significance to reasonable dose of neonatal narcotic drug selection and development of new drugs. The paper reviewed briefly the salient features of these findings on Ketamine.
