Intensive use of construction land is primarily reflected in four aspects, i.e., intensity of land-use, efficiency of land-use, intensity of land input, and sustainability of land-use. This paper uses the model of quality synthetic evaluation to assess the status of intensive land use in Chongqing City and conducts a cluster analysis based on the differences of land use intensity, concluding that the level of economic development and regional condition are the main factors that influence the intensive use of construction land.
