The value of uncertainty in measurements decides reliability of the testing results.Both of the influence factors on uncertainty and calculating method of uncertainty are different from different products and its testing way.Uncertainty is introduced for the first time into the measurement of chain length precision.A lot of experiments have been conducted to find out the key influence elements on uncertainty,and then the calculating method of uncertainty is educed.At the same time,the expression of uncertainty is presented, and the influence of uncertainty on testing results is discussed.
