Protein oxidation, lipid peroxidation and a variety of stress responses can damage the health of aquatic animals, resulting in harmful influence to aquaculture. Vitamin C （VC） and vitamin E （VE） are not only the essential micronntrients of human and animals, including aquatic animals, but two vitamins can also cooperate in antioxidation to prevent or reduce protein oxidation, lipid peroxidation and various stress responses. The paper reviews the eooperating-antioxidation of VE and VC and its mechanism, as well as its influence on aquatic animal growth, reproduction, immunity, enzymatic activity, and so on. The aim is to understand deeply the cooperating-antioxidation of VE and VC for studying, utilizing and controlling effectively to promote the health, growth and development of aquatic animals in aquaculture industry.
