According to the regulations of the experimental design and index,a hybridizations was carried out between royal chickens（♀）and recessive white feather broiler （♂）. After the selection, having fixed the target traits by the backcross method and continued to cultivate until the hybrid F3. Thelaying performance and egg quality of hybrid F3 were measured and analyzed. The results showed that the hybrid F3 had a high survival rate,less material consumption and high pass rate,which means an excellent laying performance.Egg quality traits of the hybrid F3 were measured, including egg weight （EW）,shell strength （SS）,shell thickness （ST）,yolk color （YC）,the relative density of eggs （RDE）,egg shape index （SI）, yolk index （YI）,eggshell proportion （EP）,yolk proportion （YP）,protein proportion （PP）,Haugh unit （HU）. The result showed that the means for EW, SS,ST,YC,RDE, SI,Y/,EP,YP,PP and HU were 39.45g,4.03kg/cm^2,323.43μm, 7.65,1.060,1.37,0.42,0.11,0.34,0.55and79.63 respectively.
