To effectively analysis the intercepted frequency hopping（FH） signal and estimate its parameters, according to the characteristics of the FH signal frequency changes over time, a FH parameter estimation method based on local wave analysis is proposed in this paper. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that this new time - frequency analysis method can effectively suppress noise. The effect of time - frequency figure of FH signal is very good. Therefore, it is a kind of effective method of parameter estimation of FH signal.
