Product platform evolution theory focus on its development and evolution rules,the process and influence factors of the evolution are key points of the research.Two evolution process styles which are mode of need pull and mode of technology push,are analyzed based on product lifecycle theory,and a comprehensive action mode is proposed.According to different ways that evolution is influenced,the evolution factors of product platform can be summarized as basic factors,positive factors and constraint factors.Further,an integrated model based on the relation of evolution process and influence factors are proposed.Finally,the theory mentioned is illustrated by a case.
