我国一些城市扩张出现的所谓“鬼城”现象，说明人口要素是城市扩张的一个重要和决定性的支撑点，而且我国一些城市扩张的人口大多是靠外来人口实现的。本文分析丹东地区近十年的人口增长的数据，发现本地人口供给不足，人口数量难以支撑江海经济带的五个组团规划人口的需求；从近十年外来人口机械增长的情况看，迁移人口规模小且发展缓慢。基于丹东独特的国际地缘政治环境、辽宁省内区域环境、地区周边人口迁移环境的分析，短时期内不会产生人口快速集聚的效应。

英文摘要：

Population , especially immigrant population is a key factor to support the expansion of a city .In this study , the population growth in recent 10 years in Dandong was analyzed .It was found that the local population was undersupplied and can hardly support the development of the river -sea economic belt in Dandong; besides, the immigrant population size is small and increases slowly .Based on the analysis of the unique international geopo-litical environment , regional environment in the province of Liaoning and population migrant environment of sur -rounding areas , the author proposed that the effect of rapid population agglomeration will not take place in a short term.
