Feed attractant is an important composition in formulated feed for aquatic animals. It improves the flavor of formulated feed to the aquatic animals, increases ingestion, feed efficiency and weight gain, and then improves the aquaculture benefit and reduces the pollution. This paper reviewed the kind, effect and mechanism of feed attractant, and provided a reference for the further research and application of feed attractant for aquatic animals.
