Effects of taurine on ingestion and growth performance of juvenile Pelodisoussinensis was investigated by a feeding experiment. Test diets supplemented with 0,0.2% ,0.4% ,0.6% and 0.8% of taurine were prepared. These diets were fed to juveniles Pelodisoussinensis for 8 weeks.The results showed that supplementation of 0.2%-0.8% taurine in the diet of Pelodisoussinensis improved their ingestive behavior significantly （P〈0.05）. Consumption rate was the best with 0.2% taurine supplementation, and the consumption rate decreased with the increment of tanrine level. Growth performance was significantly （P〈0.05）improved with 0.2% and 0.4% supplementation, and the 0.4% supplementation was the best.
