Heavy metal pollution in soil is one of the most influential and damaging environmental problems. The contents and distribution of six heavy metal elements including Cu, Zn, Pb, Cr, Fe, Mn in Qinghai Lake wetlands were analyzed. The results showed that the average contents of Cu, Zn, Pb, Cr, Fe, Mn in the wetlands soil were 16.34μg/g, 46.82μg/g, 15.65 μg/ g, 58.49 μg/g, 14.57 mg/g, 33.08μg/g, respectively. A clearspatial difference in both northern and southern shore wetland of Qinghai Lake was showed. The Cu, Cr, Fe appeared to be in "W" pattern, while the Zn appeared to be "W" only in the north shore, the Mn was the lowest at the 400 m plot; neither in the north shore nor the south shore did the Pb showed any distinctive change. Correlations analysis showed extremely significant positive correlation among Cu, Zn and Pb,indicating that the heavy metal pollutions had definite homology in the Qinghai Lake.
