Organism (fish, shrimp, crab and cuttlefish) samples were collected in the sea area ot Daya Bay in September, 2003 to analyze the concentration of polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) and lipid content, and the values of isotope δ^l5N and δ^13C. The total average concentration of PBDEs in fish, shrimp, crab and cuttlefish were 5.43±3.97, 1.18±0.67, 3.37±2.33 and 5.66ng/g lipid weight respectively. PBDEs bioaccumulation ratio was higher relatively in carnivorous fishes than those in planktivorous fishes. BDFA7 was the predominant component, occupying 30% of total PBDEs, and was detected in all samples. In organism, positive relationships existed between PBDEs concentration, lipid content and δ^15N value. The influence of lipid content on organism acuminating PBDEs was much greater compared with the influence of trophic level of organism.
