随着社会转型加速与消费社会的全面来临,消费认同成为理解和探讨新生代农民工身份地位与认同取向的独特视角。本文试图从农民工身份认同的代际转向出发,以空间转换和身份寻求两个维度为主线,探讨新生代农民工消费认同的行动逻辑和社会意蕴。研究发现,新生代农民工试图通过消费来烫平自我与市民的身份差异,从而为消弭社会不平等与阶层差异,加快推进农民工市民化,找到了一个可资借鉴的渠道。
With rapid transformation of society and comprehensive approaching of customer society, consumption identity is a unique perspective to understand and unscramble the status and identity orientation of new generation of migrant workers (NGMW). This paper attempts to start from the inter-generational identity shift of NGMW, probing into the action logic and social implication of identity of NGMW, with the spatial changes and identity seeking as two mainlines. The study found that NGMW intend to smooth down the identity difference between citizens and them via consumption, and eliminate the social inequality and social class differences to find a referential channel to promote the citizenization of migrate workers.
