UPB refers to employee's unethical behaviors for the benefits of organizations. It is different from self-interested unethical behaviors in that UPB is both pro-organization and unethical. Therefore it can be seen as a compound of OCB and an unethical behavior. In the past, UPB was taken as the result of positive social exchange and organizational identification, and it was found that organizational commitment and organizational identification affected it positively. However, since UPB is an unethical behavior in itself, factors proved to affect unethical behaviors should affect UPB, too. This paper explores the relationship between ethical climate and UPB, and tests whether different ethical climates have different effects on UPB. The mediating effect of moral justification is also checked. A longitudinal method was applied to collect data from several organizations at two different time points. First collected were demographics, ethical climate and moral justification data, and UPB data was collected 3 months later. SEM was used to test the hypothesis. The empirical results of 405 samples showed that instrumental ethical climate had a positive effect on moral justification and UPB, and moral justification had a partial mediating effect between instrumental ethical climates and UPB. Caring ethical climate has a positive effect on moral justification and UPB, and moral justification has a partial mediating effect between caring ethical climate and UPB, while principle ethical climate has a negative effect on moral justification and UPB, and moral justification has a partial mediating effect between principle ethical climate and UPB. This paper has several theoretical contributions and management inspirations. It is the first research to discuss the influence of ethical climate on UPB, and the results can expand antecedents of UPB. The idea that UPB is just the result of positive social exchange and organizational identification may have shortcomings and the unethical behavior's antecedent can generate UPB,
