承接产业转移是当前西部城市空间扩展的主要动力。在各类产业快速进入的背景下,以此为契机合理选择空间形态,安排中心城市功能,优化城区空间布局,将大大有利于城市建设以合理的形态和功能分布展开,进而减少布局不合理导致的大建大拆。根据新型城镇化的六大特征,可选择与空间布局直接相关的产城互动、节约集约、生态宜居三个特征作为标志,确定8项指标进行评价,进而科学规划和指导城区的各种功能配置,从而实现对西部中心城市空间布局的优化。

英文摘要：

Undertaking industrial transfer is the main power to expand the space of western cities. Under the background of industrial transfer, it is helpful for the urban construction proceeding in a reasonable form and function, and reducing mass-demolishing and mass-construction occurred by unreasonable layout if we chose the space form reasonably, arrange central city function and optimize the urban spatial layout. According to the six major characteristics of the new urbanization, this paper suggests we can choose three of them which are directly related to spatial layout, namely production interactive with city, economical and intensive city, ecological livable city. These three characteristics contain eight indicators for evaluation according to which we can make a scientific planning and guide urban configuration, so as to realize the optimization of western central city space layout.
