啁啾高斯脉冲对时延脉冲展宽的影响

该文介绍了慢光介质中引起光脉冲展宽的主要原因,在考虑介质无损耗及小信号增益条件下推导出了啁啾高斯脉冲经过宽带矩形布里渊增益谱的慢光系统后输出脉冲时域振幅包络的近似解析表达式、光脉冲时延表达式和展宽因子。定量分析了脉冲时延和啁啾参量随泵浦频带宽度等因素的影响。仿真结果表明,在输入高斯脉冲中加入初始啁啾可以减小脉冲的展宽。

英文摘要:

Introduced the main reason of optical pulse spreading in the slow light medium.Assuming a chirped Gaussian input signal pulse,this paper deduced the analytical expression of the output-pulse amplitude envelope,the pulse delay and the broadening factor in the slow light system with a broadband and rectangular Brillouin spectrum under lossless medium and small signal gain approximation.The influence of pump bandwidth and other factors between pulse delay and chirp parameter has been quantitatively analyzed.Simulation results show that adding initial chirp in Gaussian pulse can reduce the pulse broadening.
