HIV/ AIDS is a worldwide major public health and social problems,and Non - Governmental Organization(NGO)has played an irreplaceable role in HIV/ AIDS prevention and control. Among the many factors that influence the development of NGO in HIV/AIDS prevention and control,the legal and policy environment is the biggest factor affecting its development. This paper introduces the legal and policy environment evolution of NGO participating in Chinese HIV/ AIDS prevention and control,as well as the development of NGO in HIV/ AIDS prevention and control in the process.
