This article interpreted application status and characteristics of General Education（GE） in Colleges and Universites of Chinese medicine（CM） through analyses of literatures retrieved from China How Net（CNKI） database. Furthermore, this article also pointed out the strategy ＂ strengthening study on organic combination between GE and CM education＂. Besides, the present article will provide a meaningful reference for the application of CM education.
