旅游产业与区域经济存在着一定的耦合关系，文章基于耦合协调理论构建评价模型及指标体系，分析了河南省旅游产业和区域经济的发展水平及二者的关系。结果表明，河南省只有郑州市达到了优质协调，其余均未达到，且大部分地市旅游产业的发展滞后于区域经济；利用Arcgis10.0地理信息系统软件辅助作图及分析，发现耦合协调度偏低的地区在地理区位分布上无明显规律，但同当地的经济发展水平、人口等因素有密切关联。

英文摘要：

Based on an evaluation model and index system in the light of the coupling theory ,this paper analy-zes the relationship between the tourism industry and the level of regional economic development in Henan Province .The findings suggest that only Zhengzhou reached a high-quality coordination , and that the tourism development of most cities falls behind regional economies .Arcgis10 .0 GIS assisted mapping and analysis also show that low degrees of coupling are not related to geographic distribution ,but closely associated with the level of local economic development and the density of population .
