Construction through experience is expressed in various ways for folk tales. The story ＂A Stupid Person Learning to Behave Properly＂ in Tianzhu County, Guizhou Province and the story ＂Stupid Son -in -law＂ in Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province are the cases in question. It is argued that the construction of folk tales based on experience is related to life needs and functions as well as the instructiveness concerned.
