Breast cancer is a common malignant tumor in women. Apoptosis is related to the response and resistance to treatment in breast cancer. This paper timber summarize the research progress on the mechanisms of drug-induced apoptosis in breast cancer cells, effects of cell cycle, mitochondrial membrane potential, intracellular calcium concentration and caspase families, and attempts to find new strategies for anticancer efficacy of new drug.
