Objective To prepare polyclonal anti-EWD2 antibody in New Zealand rabbits immunized with nuclease EWD2 purified from Lumbricus Bimastus. Methods The polyclonal anti-EWD2 antibody was prepared by immunizing New Zealand rabbits with purified EWD2 protein. The specificity and the titer of the antibody were determined by Western blotting and ELISA, respectively. Results The polyclonal anti-EWD2 antibody was successfully obtained. The specificity of polyclonal anti-EWD2 antibody was vali- dated by Western blotting. The titer of polyclonal anti-EWD2 antibody was 1 ： 6 000. Conclusion Polyclonal anti-EWD2 antibody can be successfully prepared , which could provide a basis for further study on activity and structure of nucleases in Lumbricus Bimastus .
