This paper summarizes major concept changes in economy, marriage, costume and religion in Hainan Li area after the reform and opening-up. The changes display three characteristics： 1） transition from being closed to open; 2） transition from being conservative to progressive and 3） transition from being dependent to independent. It also analyzes three major causes for the change of concept.
