Social changes,which come down with all aspects of the society,happen continuously and gradually in the course of innovation,succession,and progress.This paper,focusing on the three major aspects,i.e.,population,economy and governmental administration,studies the changing course of Hainan society at each historical stage,and analyzes the main features of the change.
