The sand mold printing is a novel sand casting technology without wood molds and the accuracy control of sand molds is one of the key problems for the sand mold printing. The saint mold printing principle is summarized and the error sources are analyzed. The process of the hinder droplets flying from the nozzle to the molding surface is investigated and the mathematic models are built for the droplet flight time span and the errors that determines the error compensation data to improve accuracy and quality of formed sand molds.
