Although philosophy is one of the oldest subjects, management philosophy is a relative new subject, and also a brand-new field waiting to investigated into. Management philosophy is a research focus hotly discussed by the field experts of management and philosophy. The development of management practice depends on management philosophy. Management philosophy is the inevitable outcome of the management theory development. It has the double meanings of management and philosophy. By applying bibliometrics methods, we make a research on present situation and development tendency of management philosophy. With the method of studies in science of science,we also explore its foundation of development and maturity. Unified subject classification of management philosophy will promote its development in China.
