The analytical solution of ultra-short pulsed elegant-Hermite-Gaussian beams in group velocity dispersive media is obtained. Through an example, propagation properties of ultra-short pulsed elegant-Hermite-Gaussian beams with different propagation distance, pulse duration, and group velocity dispersion are investigated. The spatiotemporal coupling of ultra-short pulsed elegant-Hermite-Gaussian beams in group velocity dispersive media, especially the pulse delay at the beam periphery, is analyzed.
