移动宽带无线城域网中,如何降低移动终端蓄电池的能量消耗,延长移动终端的寿命,成为相关领域的研究热点。IEEE 802.16m的休眠机制使用监听窗口传输数据,且监听窗口可以根据需要进行扩展。将有数据传输的监听窗口抽象为忙期,将每一个无数据传输的监听窗口与之后的休眠窗口抽象为休假期,建立一个首个休假长度服从PH分布、之后的休假长度按照指数方式增长的多重休假排队模型。利用矩阵几何解方法分析求解模型,导出能量节省率和数据分组的平均时延等系统性能指标,结合不同性能指标构造成本函数。通过系统仿真获得首个休眠长度的初始位相,并进行数值实验,定量刻画系统的性能,并给出系统参数的优化设置方案。
In a mobile broadband wireless metropolitan area network,how to reduce the energy consumption of the station battery and extend the life of the mobile network has become the research focus in the related field.For the sleep mechanism in IEEE 802.16m,the packets can be transmitted during the listening window,and the listening window can be expanded as needed.Regarding the listening window with packet transmission as a busy period,and the listening window without packet transmission together with the subsequent sleep window is seen as a vacation period,then a queueing model with multiple-vacation is built.The first vacation length is supposed to follow a PH distribution,the subsequent vacations are assumed to increase binary-exponentially.Applying the method of matrix geometric,the queueing system is analyzed in steady-state,the formulas for the energy saving ratio and the average delay of packets are given,moreover,a cost function is constructed by combining different performance measures.With simulation results,the initial phase for the first vacation length is given.Numerical results are provided to investigate the system performance and optimize the system parameter.
