This paper introduces the design principles and objectives of Intemet Data Center （IDC）, and puts forward network solutions for IDC room centre network based on 1DC network structure, intemet access layer, core layer, server access layer and background management platforms. These solutions can meet the requirements for practicality, advancement, reliability, flexibility, extendibility, standardization, manageability, etc.
