Based on the research and practice of the waterfront industry heritage regeneration model at home and a- broad, we analyze the spatial pattern characteristics of industry heritage architectural complex in Hangzhou section of the Grand Canal. With the architectural complex modification as the wedging points, we have refined the land- scape reconstruction strategies on Hangzhou section＇s renewal of the Grand Canal. On the one hand, from the per- spective of buildings and structures, we put forward the new landscape transformation principles with the volume sorting solution and mixed function. On the other hand, from the view of outer space, we establish the landscape penetration strategy with open interface and integrated elements. Based on the transformation design example in Hangzhou section, we can explore the way of the regeneration of linear urban waterfront landscape.
