TiO2 nanotube arrays fabricated on titanium alloy by anodic oxidation with unique ordered structures shows excellent performance. As a new kind of structured and functional nanomaterial, it has demonstrated potential applications in many fields. The formation mechanism of TiO2 nanotube arrays, the influence factor analysis of its formation and applied field are reviewed. Finally, the TiO2 nanotube arrays development trends and application prospects are pointed out.
