提出了一种新型的基于简支梁结构的光纤布拉格光栅(FBG)振动传感器,将FBG斜向粘贴在矩形简支梁侧面上,在梁中间设置重物来传感竖直方向的振动信号。实验中使用偏心轮作为振动源,并在梁上粘贴电阻应变片进行对比实验。使用光电探测器(PD)和示波器同时检测传感器受竖直方向振动信号作用时FBG的反射光功率与电阻应变片的响应信号。实验结果表明,两者的测量结果基本符合,说明检测信号与振动信号频率特性基本吻合。由于FBG的反射光功率几乎不随温度而改变,所以该振动传感器对温度不敏感。
A simply-supported beam(SSB)-based fiber Bragg grating(FBG) vibration sensor was proposed and experimentally demonstrated.An initially-uniform FBG was glued with a slanted direction onto the lateral surface of the SSB.A mass fixed in the middle of the beam transfers the vertical vibration signal to the deflection of the beam.Non-uniform strain field generated by beam bending was applied along the FBG and makes it chirped.Using a photoelectric detector(PD) and an oscilloscope,the reflected optical power from the FBG and response signal of the resistance strain gauge were measured when the sensor was affect by vertical vibration signal.The experimental results show that the measurement results of both methods are uniform,and the detection signal frequency characteristic is identical with vibration signal frequency characteristic.The vibration sensor is not sensitive to temperature because the reflected light power of FBG is almost unchanged with temperature.
