拔模操作在计算机辅助模具设计和制造领域有着非常广泛的应用.文中提出一个基于边界表示的拔模算法,克服了现有算法只能添加较小的拔模角度、保持模型连接关系不变的缺点.该算法首先生成一个初始的拔模体,然后对初始体的不合法面进行处理,最后采用一个启发式的搜索算法生成拔模体.与已有的算法比较,文中算法更加鲁棒,提高了拔模的造型能力,可适用于更多的情况.
Draft operation is a widely used in current CADCAD systems.In this paper we present a new draft algorithm for B-rep models,which overcomes the shortcoming in current used methods in which only small angles are allowed to keep the topological structure unchanged.In the proposed method,after generating an initial drafted body,we correct the faces of the initial drafted body and use a heuristic searching algorithm to obtain the final body.The proposed algorithm is more robust when compared to the previous methods.Finally examples are presented,showing that our method increases the capability of draft operation and can be used in a much large range of applications.
