Modularization analysis of metabolic networks can be helpful to understand the structure and function of these networks.However, almost all current methods consider metabolic networks as general complex networks, and resulted modules are often of biological insignificance.By applying Petri net to riboflavin metabolism network in Bacillus subtilis, the resuits suggest that T-invariant of Petri net is usable for identifying functional modules in metabolic networks, with better biological significance.
