In the project of cross-tmder the highway with pipe roof and culvert box method, the interspace between culvert box and pipe roof is limited by several factors. Rational interspace is convenient for construction. By the project of the separating overpass of Zhengzhou-Kaifeng urban route way through the Jing- Gang-Ao highway, this paper discusses the factors influencing rational interspaces and the determination of it.
