The geometrical average method for adjusting the judgment matrix in the group decision is discussed by deriving fine-detail information from the judgment matrix. Firstly, the building-element＇ s conception is put forward and its expression is obtained. Each of building-elements can construct a consistent and reciprocal matrix is proved. The information of judgment matrix is extracted by all building-elements. Secondly, according to the buildingelement＇ s expression a consistent and reciprocal matrix is provided by geometric mean of all judgment matrices constructed by the building-elements. The matrix owns better information than the judgment matrix. It can take the place of the judgment matrix. Finally, the method was applied by exampling yet. It opens a new sight for the group decision.
