全球定位系统(GPS)已在定位、导航、精确授时等领域得到了广泛应用。本文介绍了KODEN公司的GSU-36GPS接收机的性能指标和输出数据格式。基于GPS技术,详细给出了GPS接收机与单片机的硬件接口和软件设计方案。将该方案成功应用于埋地管道防腐层缺陷检测系统中,通过GPS时间来实现检测仪和中断器之间的同步。应用结果表明本文提出的设计思想是正确的,本文介绍的GPS接收机与单片机的通讯方法在需要时间同步的其他应用领域同样具有广阔的发展前景。
Global positioning system (GPS) has been widely applied in the fields such as positioning, navigation and precise time service. The performance index and output data format of GSU-36 GPS receiver produced by KODEN Corporation are introduced in this paper. Based on GPS technology, the hardware interface between the GPS receiver and single chip microcontroller as well as the design of software is given in detail. The technical program which uses GPS to achieve the time synchronization between the detection instrument and current interrupter is successfully applied in the detection system of coating defects of buried pipelines. The application result shows that the plan proposed in this paper is correct, and the method of communication between the GPS receiver and single chip microcontroller also has a broad prospect for the development in other application fields which demand time synchronization.
