The main problems in university＇s geographical experiment teaching at present was explained. Furthermore the innovation that virtual reality technology applying on university＇s geographical experiment teaching and geographical experiment teaching method based on virtual reality technology was put forward. Virtual reality technology must be introduced in university＇s geographical experiment teaching. It can combine the content and form of geographical practising teaching of every branch discipline, and make student understand and master among geographical knowledge intuitionisticly in teaching experimental activity. At the same time, it can improve university＇s educational technology level, improve the experiment environment, and optimize the teaching course.
