The paper analyzed the data on scientific collaboration that retrieved from Web of Science of ISI. It detected the research fronts of international scientific collaboration by mapping the science documents and bibliometrics factors of refer- ence co - citation network. Before 2000s, the research fronts of the domain mainly includes ： the basic concept and theory, origin, measurement of scientific collaboration, the structure, measurement and network model of scientific collaboration network, the measurement and affect factors of international scientific collaboration, scientific collaboration research on medicine and health domain. On the other hand, after 2000s, the research fronts of scientific collaboration mainly in- cludes： scientific collaboration network, international scientific collaboration, methods and technique of social network a- nalysis, bibliometrics indicator in scientific collaboration.
