Under the guidance of the theories of cartography,digital mapping,map design and compilation,the paper puts forward a set of simple,fast and systematic methods and technical solutions for thematic map production.This method combines with the thematic map production software ArcGIS and the means of image processing of Photoshop.This method is put forward to provide some solutions for the relevant practitioners.
