采用水溶性聚合单体甲基丙烯酸和丙烯醛在钠基蒙脱土层间直接原位插层聚合制备水溶性MAA—AL/MMT纳米复合材料,通过XRD和TEM对纳米复合材料的结构进行表征,采用TGA、DSC研究了纳米复合材料的热性能,同时考察了甲基丙烯酸与丙烯醛配比及体系pH值对纳米复合材料结构及应用性能的影响。研究结果表明所制备的MAA—AL/MMT纳米复合材料属于剥离型纳米复合材料,纳米复合材料的热性能相对未改性的聚合物有较大提高,应用于皮革鞣制所得坯革的增厚率及湿热稳定性均有一定提高,同时纳米复合材料的使用有利于浴液中铬的吸收。
Methacrylic acid-acraldehyde/montmorillonite (MAA-AL/MMT) nanocomposites were prepared using Na^+-montmorillonite (Na+-MMT) via in-situ polymerization of methacrylic acid (MAA) and acraldehyde (AL) in aqueous medium. The nanocomposite was characterized by XRD and TEM. Thermal properties of the nano- composite were studied by TGA and DSC. At the same time, the impacts of n(MAA) : n(AL) and pH value of the system on nanocomposite structure and application properties were studied by mono-factor experiment. The results shown that the nanocomposite formed is exfoliated nanocomposite. It exhibited significant improvement in thermal properties, compared to the unmodified polymer counterpart. The thickness increment ratio and wetheat resistance of leather tanned by nanocomposites were improved. As well as, the nanocomposites facilitate to absorption of chromate.
