Objective To introduce the reliability assessment measure intraclass correlation coefficient and corresponding software procedures.Methods Meanings,formulas,SAS and SPSS procedures for different types of intraclass correlation coefficients were clarified by examples.Results Appropriate intraclass correlation coefficients were selected by determining one-way model or two-way model;single measure or average measure;absolute agreement or consistency.Conclusion Researchers should select right intraclass correlation coefficients according to data and analysis objectives.SAS and SPSS can provide computation results.
