英文摘要：

Objective To study the reference values of nerve conduction velocity （NCV） among healthy adults and to provide discriminatory value for diagnosis of occupational peripheral neuropathy diseases. Methods 192 healthy adults （96 males and 96 females）, age 20 - 60, were studied. The MCV （motor-nerve conduction velocity） of median, ulnar, tibial and peroneal nerves and the SCV （sensore-nerve conduction velocity） of median, ulnar and peroneus super nerves were examined respectively. The latency, amplitude and velocity were observed. Results The variation of NCV had no significance between the male and female and between the left and right limb. It was noted that the MCV and SCV and their latency and amplitude varied among different age groups and different stature groups. There was a trend that they had a negative relationship. It was noted that the NCV was affected mostly by age, but not stature. There was a great variation of amplitude among different individuals. Conclusion NCV examination was one of the most important techniques for diagnosis of occupational peripheral neuropathy diseases. Reference value is a necessarily prerequisite for such diagnosis. Different reference values should be made for different age groups and the stature of examinee should be cared if needed. The latency and amplitude are the important observed index. The amendment of current reference value of NCV in the diagnosis of occupational diseases is necessary.
