Airport efficiency is calculated by the slacks-based measure of data envelopment analysis.In addi tion to the conventional outputs,such as aircraft traffic movements,passenger movements and cargo handled,two undesirable outputs are considered：percentage of delayed flights and average conditional delay of delayed flights.The slacks-based measure model used is found to have more discriminatory power than the common directional distance function approach.It can be calculated slacks of each decision making unit,providing theoretical guidance for the operation and management of the airport.
