The NAS device using central storage management structure has many merits, but there are the hidden trouble of server bottleneck and a single point of failure in it. Aiming at these problems above, a storage structure based on intelligent network disk (IND) is presented, and then the hardware and software model of the interface of IND is described in detail. The test of system performance shows that the load is comparative averagely distributed to each IND, and the network and storage resources of the system are comparative sufficiently utilized.
