Several impurities have significantly negative influence on conversion efficiency of solar cells. Magnetic fields can bring about energy level splitting of the atoms of impurities to change the energy level. Taking the example of impurities Mn, the energy level splitting of the atom of Mn in magnetic fields was computed, and influence on conversion efficiency of solar cells which was exerted by this level splitting was discussed.
